I had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with a mall Muslim clothing business, Prophethood! Their goal is to evoke the feeling of elegance, royalty, connection, and passion  to Arab and Muslim culture.  I designed their logo as well as translated their embroidery designs into Adobe Illustrator Files for their manufacturing supplier. I was responsible with designing a measurement accurate Chest Design, and four patch designs.

The first inspiration I had for their logo design was to encorporate Mecca, which is the holiest city in Islam and is recognized by all Muslims across the world.

The second source of inspiration I had for their logo design was to encorporate the Cave Of Hira where Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) received his revelations from Allah SWT through the angel Gabriel.

In this draft of the logo design, I designed a minimalist, yet contemporary depiction of Mecca cube with a door or passage within it to represent how when you are wearing Prophethood clothing, you are more connected to your faith and community.

In this draft of the logo design, I illustrated a contempory depiction of the Cave of Hira in which the negative space reflects the light and passage of faith through the dark. Similarly to the previous draft, my goal was to use the negative space to reflect the path of connection of their core audience to their faith and community. We ultimately chose to center the imagery of the Cave Of Hira as it is more distinct and not overused in comparison to their competitors. In this version, I split up the words "Prophet" and "Hood" to make use of the space within the cave and to lead the eye towards the path of light. We ultimatly decided on the final version above where "Prophethood" is represented on the logo as one word.
